BEMA PRIME respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email address and delivery address, and those of the people you send parcels to. Details of your shipments, invoices, payments and shop orders. If you create an account, your login details, with your password stored in encrypted form. Basic technical information such as your IP address when you use this website.
Why we use it
To receive, carry, track and deliver your shipments. To process shop orders and payments. To contact you about your shipments and orders, including by email. To link parcels sent from abroad to you by your phone number. To keep records we are required to keep by law, and to prevent fraud and misuse of our services.
Who we share it with
Only with those who need it to deliver our service: our staff, partner carriers and agents who move your goods, and customs and other authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep shipment, invoice and payment records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Account details are kept while your account is open.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Contact the office using the details below and we will respond within 21 days.
Security
We protect your data with access controls, so staff see only what they need, and with encrypted connections to this website.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
